The generation of these communications requires content assembly driven by rules that specify how
to select the right version of the content, and how to personalize this content based on data or
business logic. Personalized documents also need to be properly formatted for distribution across
many output channels, including Web and email formats, such as HTML and Adobe PDF, and highvolume print formats, including PostScript and AFP.

xPression 3 is a complete solution for personalizing and customizing customer communications. Document designers use a set of document design tools for developing dynamic document templates that contain rules for customization and variables for personalization. xPression 3 merges data from a variety of sources, in batch mode or in real-time, with these templates to produce a wide range of personalized customer communications in various formats for distribution via a customer's preferred channel, including print, Web, Email, SMS and Archive.

In addition, xPression 3 provides a set of Web-based, content-intensive, business solutions, as well as a toolkit for building additional custom solution.
